What's the Secret?

How is it that so many bloggers can find time to teach, write interesting Blogs, pin, create incredible goodies for TPT, raise their own kids, grocery shop........! I can't remember the last time i actually got my hair cut by a pro.
I'm just now getting to Farley's current and only because I have a day off school due to a water main break!  I'm sure i have at least 20 pics on my camera from my classroom that I still need to load.  So, I'll apologize up front.  I'm sorry for posting more than once today.  But a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!
So, look for a recap of our Seuss week that was cut short and some ideas for using the cute little plastic boxes I found at The Container Store.

This is my first "currently" experience!  It makes you realize the what multi-tasking actually is.  And i thought my brain couldn't possibly do more than a couple things at once.
Well here it is.  Is Farley a real person or just cyber-space?  Does anyone really know what time it is?

Plus also...My new friend Staci at Let's Teach Something, gave me a cute little award!  I love that girl!
here it is!
So I'm going to pay it forward.  You're it!

Here's how it works...
Thank the blogger who gave the award to you... Thanks Staci!
Put the award on your blog... see above :)

Chicks and Cheesecake...What a Combo!

Can you tell what a good time we all had at the tri-state meet-up?  I stole this pic from my new Container Store junkie friend Staci, who probably stole it from one of the other fabulous women we met.  Thanks again to Abby and Michelle, and Abby's mom who made the cute cookie pops.  I intended to save mine for my 8 year-old, but accidently devoured it on the way home.  Sorry Roman!  He did however love the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake I brought him.

What's in A Name?

So I found out the today, and the hard way I might add, that my Blog name is very similar to someone else's.  So I had to switch the title a little.  It was supposed to be Happiness and Sunshine in first grade but the url said sunshine n happiness...Can you believe it?  Hang in there.  I promise to get my blogging act together shortly!  Really!

Feel the Love...

I just want to say a HUGE THANKS to Kacey at Doodlebugs.  She has saved my old tired calendar wall with these oh so adorable calendar cards.  She's got new ones every month right on her blog...and free I might add!  Go grab them for yourself.  Do not pass go not collect $200...go get'em!  I make at least 3 sets of them every month.  I use them for sequencing activities, random order for choosing students, and greater than and less than centers!  Then I buy her goodies at TPT and all is right with the world.  Let me know if you can think of other ways to use them!

Practice Makes Better....

Seriously, I think the perfectionist in me is going to keep me from actually getting this blog started.  There are easily a gazillion blog templates out there.  For those of us who are blessed with the gift of indecision…it’s frankly a nightmare!  Well, thanks to my teammate, Alison Yates, I am finally sharing my crazy teaching ideas on the web.  Maybe she hopes I’ll spend more time blogging and less time in her room trying to turn her into a Pinterest addict. Uh-huh.  I know her kind!
So here goes nothing.  To Alison and the rest of you who have been blogging for years, thanks for the nudge!
